Carmen Jaci — ‘A/V Performance ft. Matthew Schoen’ Carmen Jaci is a Canadian producer and composer based in Leiden. Using hybrid sounds that merge acoustic instruments, synthesizers and vocal recordings, she draws upon the contrasts between organic and electronic.

This live A/V performance by Carmen Jaci and Matthew Schoen seeks to reinvent our everyday interactions with technology and illustrate its impact on the construction of our identities. The duo presents a visualization of Jaci's personal data, accumulated over the years through various applications and softwares. An indexical notation of her daily and intimate life, this nonlinear visual sequence is synchronized with a lively and heterogeneous musical composition revealing surreal undertones.

Hidde Kramer — ‘Auditive Connections’ Auditive Connections explores what it means to be connected, in sound and otherwise, to the other, and what role digital media play in these connections. Are you really connected if you connect over the internet? Or is it the space between, the non-digital, that truly connects you? The work is a ‘telematic’ participatory audio installation, in which a live composition is created by you as the audience. If you choose to participate, you will be both a listener and a performer.

Pedro Latas — ‘Latent Space’ Pedro’s work focuses on the relationship between the physical body and its inherent identity with digital media. Pedro's work draws inspiration from their own Queer identity and other's Queer experiences in a digitalized world that, for the most part, seeks to supress non-normative bodies and existences. In Machine Learning, Latent Space represents an abstract space for information. This concept echoes Queer existences navigating between fixed points in a heteronormative world, challenging oppressive norms. Queer identities, rich in beauty and creativity, are affirmed with the help of technology.

Zsa Zsa — ‘DJ Set’ As a dance performer, Zsa Zsa’s profound bond with the physical expression of music translates into her sets — her understanding of the movement between beats and melodies. In the realm of contrasts, she weaves through the shadows of intense dark grooves, then emerges into the light with uplifting moments, creating a journey that evokes both the mysterious and the euphoric.
